Compressor Oils

TRL # 127

TRL 127 is a polymer fortified, multi-grade compressor oil. It is used in industrial plants, institutions, automotive and truck fleet shops, food processors etc., as a crankcase and cylinder lubricant in air compressors, hydrocarbon gas compressors, inert gas compressors, etc.

TRL 127 reduces carbon formation, retaining the oils lubrication properties for long periods of time, effecting lower temperatures, greater efficiencies and longer lubrication life. In heavy duty applications, both rotary and reciprocal compressors exhibit longer lubrication cycles. Owing to the high lubricity and film-strength forming properties, of the base oil and added protection of the anti-wear and extreme pressure additives TRL 127 reduces cylinder and bearing wear.

TRL 127 utilizes a dual approach to retard oxidation. It is formulated from highly refined parrafin base oils with a high natural viscosity index and superior resistance to heat, oxidation and water resistance. It is fortified with oxidation inhibitors to give added protection in excess of 325 F as compared with 200 F for ordinary compressor oils. TRL 127 is a multi-grade of SAE 10-50.
